Dusty is a beautiful medium brown alpaca with a dark brown nose and ears. She has a very crimpy topknot and nice coverage down her legs. She loves to run around and play with all the other "kids" in our herd. She has Bueno, Guellermo, and Caligula in her background so we have high hopes for her cria. Her 2010 cria was out of WD Steiner. This cria is very dense and crimpy and she is a black cria that went on to be Reserve Champion. We were very excited. Whiskey Chaser was so named because of his coloring and he is forever chasing his cria friends... Whiskey is the offspring of our best Dam Dusty who produces fabulous cria every year and out of the sire Steiner. We had Satin a few years back when we were first starting to breed alpacas and liked that combination so much that we repeated it - this time around we got a gorgeous brown cria with super fine fleece. Whiskey does indeed have very fine fleece but it is not as dense as we would like it in order for him to be on our stud row, therefore Whiskey has been gelded and will make a wonderful pet/fiber animal for someone.
